The apartment is situated in a 3 floor house, occupying the entire first floor. It has 360' view. Each room has a balcony and a king size bed. The kitchen offers the guests the possibility of preparing their own meals, if wanted. The apartment does not have the traditional air conditioning machine; the heating/cooling is done through a system of pipes located in the floor, thus ensuring a controlled climate, optimal for the body. The entrance to the apartment is separate. There are 2 parking spaces near the house, free of charge, available only for the guests. We, the hosts (2 adults and 2 children), live on the other 2 floors. The city tax is not included in the price of the apartment and must be paid in cash at check-in (1 euro/ person/ night for the first 7 nights). Children under 14 years do not pay this tax.)

Our names are Constantin and Georgiana and we live on the other 2 floors of the house. We are a young family, with 2 little children and we accomplished our dream of owning a house with garden in 2022, when we found this wonderful home. We like to spend time outside, taking care of the garden. We also like reading and spending time with friends and family. We like to learn new things and meet new people. The name of the house combines our family name and the name of the most beloved home in "Gone with the wind": Tara. It also means "chest full of treasures".

The house is situated at the beginning of the village San Martino in Colle, at 10 minutes drive from city Perugia, on a quiet and semi-private street, with just a few houses. The neighbours are very nice, respectful and willing to help. Here everybody knows everybody! If necessary, the guests can find a farmacy near the house and, at a 10-15 minute walk, a poste office, a restaurant, a library, a supermarket, 2 bars (one with newspapers and loto area), a jewelry and a furniture store. Although the spring and summer makes the most of the landscape, the fall and winter have their charm too. In November, at "Castel piazza", the village hosts for 2 weeks a chestnut and wine festival. All the people gathers around big plates of fire, eat chestnut and "torta" and listen to live music or eat home made meals in the big hall. In some of the late fall mornings, the mist surrounds the entire valley and you feel like you are in the clouds! Such a spectacol! In December, right before Christmas, Santa comes to every house that children live in. Because here doesn't snow, Santa comes on a lighted tractor, with loud music, so that everybody hears and sees him, as it should. Wonderful initiative for the kids of all ages, between 0-100 years old!
