The business is family owned. Depending of season and day of the week you will encounter different people. We hope to do our best to ensure a beautiful stay to you and your family.
Property information
When our Great-Grandfather bought "La Fortezza Alta" property in the beginning of 20th Century, the building was a great farm full of peasants, chickens, cows and sheep all living together, and so it lasted until late seventies. Then a long renovation started, preserving as much as possible of the original place, and we finally open to public in 2001. Doing so we hope to share the beauty of the place and the quality of living that so enchanted place can give.
Neighbourhood information
Umbria is a beautiful region but not very popular. Don't miss Todi, Amelia, Spoleto, Valnerina. If you have time you can reach Perugia or even Florence and Rome. Landscapes are beautiful all the year round. Villages are classic Central Italy middle age "borgo". Most popular food are Truffles, Pork, wild boar.
