The central location with respect to the main tourist resorts of the region makes it an ideal starting point for your excursions. Just 10 minutes away is the Circumvesuviana which connects Portici with Naples and therefore with the ports from where you can reach the islands of the gulf (Ischia, Capri, Procida, etc.). With the Circumvesuviana it is also possible to reach the beautiful and famous Sorrento. A few minutes by car you can reach: the archaeological sites of Herculaneum and Pompeii, the National Park and the Vesuvius crater. The highway entrance is only 2.5 km away and allows you to easily reach Pompeii with its famous excavations, Naples, the airport and the port of departure for the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida. With the same highway, in about half an hour, you can reach the Sorrento peninsula and the famous Amalfi coast with all its pearls: Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and Ravello.
