Erice Vetta is a true medieval gem, one of the most charming villages in Italy. Guests love strolling through its cobbled streets, admiring the ancient Cyclopean walls, and enjoying the timeless atmosphere. The area where the house is located is especially appreciated for its peace and quiet, while still being just steps away from the main attractions. Nearby you’ll find the Church of San Francesco, and within walking distance you can visit the impressive Cathedral of Erice, the Venus Castle with its breathtaking views, and the Balio Gardens, ideal for a romantic stroll or a relaxing break. Cultural highlights include the Ettore Majorana Foundation, with its exhibitions and scientific events, and the Cordici Museum, which houses important archaeological finds and sacred art. Food lovers will enjoy the many typical restaurants serving dishes like fish couscous and handmade busiate pasta. Just steps from the house is Maria Grammatico’s pastry shop, world-famous for its almond pastries, warm genovesi, and mustazzoli. Finally, the panoramic cable car to Trapani is within easy reach and offers a spectacular ride from the mountain to the sea.
