“La Foresteria” of Palazzo Picedi Benettini is located in Sarzana in via Giuseppe Mazzini 37. The first construction dates back to 1300, in 1700 it underwent a major renovation, becoming an episcopal residence. Over the years the palace had illustrious guests such as Maria Luigia D’Asburgo Duchess of Parma, wife of Napoleon Bonaparte and Pope Pius VII The Guesthouse of Palazzo Picedi Benettini is located on the second floor without a lift, so booking is NOT RECOMMENDED for guests who have walking problems. The rooms have been developed respecting the character and historicity of the building being a historic residence with restrictions. In total we have 3 rooms: The 16 m2 Green Gold Room with external bathroom for private and exclusive use of the room. The 18m2 Blu Room with external bathroom for private and exclusive use of the room. The 42m2 Family Suite consists of a large living room and a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. All our rooms are equipped with air conditioning/heating, safe, mini bar, set of towels, courtesy set, espresso coffee machine with pods included, and a welcome bottle of water. Our solarium terrace is available to all our guests. We are a guest house. We are NOT able to serve breakfast. Dogs are Welcome on request and approval, contact us before reservatio an extra costs may required All our guests will be sent our digital Welcome Book with lots of information on the structure and the surroundings For parking we recommend Piazza Avis or Piazza Don Dino Richetti. We warn our guests to pay particular attention to the road signs before parking. The Sarzana railway station is approximately 400 meters from us.

La Foresteria of Palazzo Picedi Benettini is located in via Mazzini 37 in the main street of the city in the pedestrian area (AZTL), the train station is about 400 meters away and can be reached on foot in just under 10 minutes.
