It's an old farmhouse in the country but close to city and entertainment. It was built in the 15th century, enlarged in the 18th century by my great-grandfather and renovated a few years ago. There isn't air conditioned, but the thick walls make the apartment pretty cool in summer.
We like to work outdoors, meet people, visiting new places.
The farmhouse is the ideal starting point to visit the town of Siena (5 km to reach by car a great parking near the historical center), Monteriggioni (20 km), San Gimignano (40 km), Montalcino (40 km), Bagno Vignoni (49 km), volterra (54 km), Florence (70 km), Pisa (150 km) and the naturalistic and landscaped areas of Chianti (North, 15 km), Montagnola (W, 10 km), Crete (SE, 10 km), Farma and Merse valley (SW, 30 km, with regional parks, San Galgano church and the true sword in the stone). You can also have a bath in the Farma river (18 km), free spa (30 km), Trasimeno lake (70 km) and Mediterranean see (80 km). We are close to the city of Siena, so the nearest shopping area and supermarket is 2 km far, and the nearest restaurant is 2,5 km far. Around you can also play sport: tennis, archery, bolws, billiards, fishing, trekking, walking. Is possible to reach the historical center of Siena by foot (3 km), but the way have not sidewalk and night lighting, and there is a steep climb.
