The property is located in the heart of the city of Aosta, right at the intersection of thistle and Decumano of the ancient Augusta Praetoria. The apartment occupied the top floor (4) of a small building at the end of the 16th century, The main characteristic of which is to boast, on both sides, of two ancient sundials, currently semi hidden by a recent renovation to preserve their value in time. This small corner of history welcomes a lovely apartment in total contrast to the surrounding urban context: the roof was basically formed by an old attic in ancient times , the previous owner wanted to give a modern, sober and refined connotation refined in a contemporary style, fine finishes and high ceilings. With a discreet eye to design, Le Cadran Solaire, is equipped with every comfort to make guests feel at home. Six large windows overlook the town’s, two main pedestrian streets and allow you to enjoy the pleasant "noise" of passers-by who animate the old town. A gentle shelter among the beautiful Valdostane Alps. Room for ski storage.
Since the start of the renovation project, my desire has been to achieve something that suits my personality, not exceeded by time, Details I've succeeded in. Le Cadran Solaire a stunning two bedroom flat, recently refurbished to an excellent standard, is located on the third floor of a historical building overlookingi Via Croix de Ville, The flat is beautifully presented with contemporary furniture and stunning views over the centre.
Leaving the front door, you are immediately into the daily life of the place, with shops and restaurants . In a few minutes you will reach the most beautiful archaeological sites of the place: the Cryptoportic and the ancient Roman Forum, The Cathedral, the main Piazza Chanoux, the Roman Theatre, the Praetoria Gate, the Arch of Augustus on foot. All transport services, train station bus stop, the cabin to Pila, are nearby just 5 minutes walk. If you fancy a relaxing day in Courmayeur with Mont Blanc, Pré Saint Didier with the its thermal Baths. Cogne with its waterfalls. Saint Vincent and the Casino, the fort of Bard with its exhibitions of great painters. Two main parking areas are available at 5-minute walk away. A private covered parking in Via Carrel is available.
