San Giuseppe Maestrale is located at the foot of the Montecatini hill , out of the way. The villa is designed in line with the Tuscan architecture and offer a breath-taking view on surrounding landscape: a vast fields, distant hills and plants typical for Tuscany: cypresses and oleanders. The house is constructed with natural materials like stones, wood and ceramic. This is the example of a mixture of traditional Tuscan style and a modern infrastructure like air conditioning and useful equipment. The villa with its’ garden and a private swimming pool allows our guests to feel free to spend their time in their own way. A private space creates a climate of intimacy – a golden balance between comfortable conditions and treasures of the nature. The location in the countryside allows experience relax and peaceful holidays. The medieval village of Montecatini towers over our small valley. Its’ stone walls and the monumental tower remind us the legacy of the Italian history and culture.

BEACHES In 25 minutes from Montecatini you will reach the nearest beaches … The beaches of Cecina, Marina di Bibbona, Donoratico, Castiglioncello and San Vincenzo. A line of the sea stretches from Livorno to Piombino – Castiglioncello, Quercianella, Rosignano, Vada, Cecina, Bibbona, Marina di Castagneto and San Vincenzo. Beaches of pale sand, like those at San Vincenzo and Baratti, alternate with the darker sands of Marina di Castagneto, Bibbona and Cecina, and wind-sculpted rocky shores where the water is deep and teeming with fish. Well-equipped marinas provide plenty of opportunities for yachting SIGHTSEEING The lovely Residence is perfectly located for exploring Tuscany. It is just 30 minutes’ drive to the wonderful medieval hilltop city of Volterra a historic Etruscan city. Short drives will take you to the renowned cities of San Gimignano (45 km from Montecatini) and Siena 65 km . Of course one cannot miss out on the Leaning Tower at Pisa (60 km) – just an hour away. Cultural treasure of Florence (96 km) are reachable within 1,5 hour.
