This bright and modern apartment is located in a quiet (and dry) area of Venice, away from the crowds, one of the few places where you can still experience authentic Venetian life. At the same time, it is located centrally as you can reach St. Mark's square in 10 minutes. The apartment is built on a historical site where they used to make ship ropes. It has a small closed-off garden (a rarity in Venice). This stylish apartment has a private entrance, fiberoptic internet, a/c and a smart TV.

Bar La Palanca is my favourite bar for breakfast, it is owned by Andrea, a friendly local resident, which is quite rare in Venice and many locals drink their coffee there in the morning. The location is what makes this place unique, as it is located in the trendy Giudecca area, which is one of the few areas in Venice where you can meet Venetians who live there. At the same time Giudecca is home to Harry's Dolce, Cipriani's Bar & Restaurant for the rich and famous. In the summer months, you can easily reach the beach in Lido directly from the boat stop 100 meters from the house. After a busy day of sightseeing, it is only a short walk to the Skyline Rooftop bar, on top of the Hilton Molino Stucky hotel in Giudecca, the rooftop teras with the best view of Venice. The cheapest way to get to Giudecca if you arrive by plane is to take bus number 5 to Piazzale Roma. From there you take either boat number 2 or boat 4.1 (or boat N during the night) to the stop 'Palanca'. If you arrive by car, you can park your car in Tronchetto Car park and take boat number 2 to St. Marco, exit at the stop Palanca.
