The late 16th-century porticoes in Pieve di Teco are a marvel of neo-Renaissance architecture. They demonstrate the importance of Pieve at the time, the last bastion of the Republic of Genoa before France, on the rich salt route. The porticoes are still filled with bars, restaurants, and shops. Cultural tours can be organized to visit the various churches, theater, and palaces, or take circular walks along the trails.
