Scicli is such a stunning little town to live in, quiet and at the same time very active and with lots of cultural and fun activities throughout the year. The old Sicilian traditions are still alive here, Easter, various religious festivals are something not to be missed, and very very picturesque. Ask me when and how! Also it is the location of most the Inspector Montalbano TV series and so you read the books or seen it on TV you will be able to retrace the steps of the Inspector. Last but not least, for all foodies Scicli is the right place to be: great restaurants, cafes and bars light the nights up of this town, and the Ragusa province is also heaven for wine tasting, cheese lovers, and cooking classes with authentic Sicilian mammas. We know some and we will be happy to share and book all these experiences for you.

We have just finished the restoration and refurbishing of the family house. It has been inhabited by the aristocratic Montalbano family for centuries, and now we are very proud to open it to all our guests and new friends! All the original features and furnishing have been kept and restored. We did not want to create a hotel just a very comfortable home from home for our guests. I am sure you like it! Our reception is in front of the Town Hall, inside Vindigni Cafè.

Palazzo Montalbano is right in the centre of Scicli, but the entrance is in a quiet narrow lane. The views from the main terrace is one of the best in town, it is over the church of San Matteo that is located on a cliff overlooking Scicli.
