Dear guests, since our building doubles as a vacation house and guest house, breakfast service IS NOT PROVIDED. All rooms, though, come with a kettle and a minibar. Additionally, if you'd like, there's a microwave, toaster, coffee maker with pods, and tableware (plates, glasses, etc.) in the common area before the rooms. As a result, unless you reserve the ground floor apartment, it is possible to just CONSUME FOOD WITHOUT COOKING IT.
As a result, our visitors typically enjoy breakfast alone, with others, and in a friendly setting.
Podere Valserena is a company managed by a family. Visitors are treated as members of a household and have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Tuscan customs, culture, and cuisine.
I'm Cristina, and I oversee the lodging establishment. The restaurant is managed by my mother, Ira, and my uncles, Rino and Roberto. We would be happy to have you join us for lunch or supper. I have my sister Francesca and our dining room mainstays, Gabriele and Leandro, who will take good care of you. The only advice is to not request perfectly cooked Fiorentina!
Dogs have always been a part of our family. The latter are allowed inside the building as long as the "house rules" are followed, which are to always keep them on a leash, never leave them alone, gather their secretions, and provide everything you need (kennels, beds, etc.) to let them to sleep comfortably in your room.
Nestled between Siena and the Val d'Arbia, in the breathtaking Crete Senesi region known for its exceptional wines, DOC cheeses, traditional culinary specialties, and thermal springs, sits the estate Podere Valserena. Situated near numerous ancient and fascinating locations, like the Abbey of San Galgano, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, and many more, the edifice marks a crossing point on the Via Francigena, which runs between Siena and Buonconvento.
