Cinisello Balsamo is an Italian municipality of more than 70,000 inhabitants in the metropolitan city of Northern Milan in Lombardy. It was formed in 1928 from the unification of the two distinct municipalities of Cinisello and Balsamo, which still today identify the two main districts of the city. The district has numerous important squares such as Piazza Gramsci or Piazza Costa, and as many churches, for example the church of Sant'Ambrogio and the sanctuary of San Martino and finally also historic villas such as Villa Ghirlanda Silvia.
