Hi everyone, my name is Elena, i love slow life, art and meditation, that's why one day something happened and i decided to change my life totally: i left my job in a big fashion company making the decision to live on my creativity and passions like meditation. Città Di Castello is a small city but has many interesting places to visit. It gave birth to one of the most important artists of last century Alberto Burri. He left most of his works to the city . He turned his studio, five huge tabacco driers, into a museum that houses the most beautiful collection of his art pieces as a unique sensory experience. I often go there just to nourish my senses and my soul. Palazzo Albizzini houses more art pieces of Burri, especially the CRETTI and burned plastics. The city has also ancient art held in beautiful cathedral and museums like the Pinacoteca as well as amazing renaissance buildings that makes th small a town a little piece of ancient and modern art piece. Città di Castello is also a perfect spot to visit central Italy, within 1hour and half you can drive to Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi, Trasimeno Lake, Rome. Less expensive than Tuscany, Umbria keeps its traditions and intact atmosphere, amazing food and wine as well !!!
