The Small Castle is a lovely, 2 bedroom, 3 bath home in the historic center of Cortona. What makes it extra special is that you have your own home while you explore all that Cortona has to offer. Guests can enjoy a fireplace in winter and air conditioned bedrooms in summer. On the ground floor, there is a great room including a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and sitting room with firepace and flat screen TV. An adjacent powder room contains laundry facilities. Up one level, there is the master bedroom with matrimonial bed and a TV, a sitting room with large desk and game table, and a separate bathroom with bidet and shower. On the top level, there is a bedroom with either two singular beds or one matrimonial as well as a full bathroom with bidet and shower. The house has beautiful antique furniture and is updated and maintained by its owner. wood for the fireplace is on request for an extra fee.
Welcome to my lovely rental home in Cortona. I live in Cortona and have been welcoming guests to my two rental properties, this and The Arch, for many years., I am 4th generation Cortonese, and love sharing my home. The Small Castle has an interesting history, dating back to the 1500s, and I will be pleased to share the story with you when you arrive.
