Set in the countryside amongst 3 acres of olive trees and farmland, Trullo Serenità Retreat is a unique accommodation option for up to 6 people located in the peaceful countryside of the Valle d'Itria and is comprised of a restored trullo (sleeps 2) and a separate guesthouse (sleeps up to 4). The property can be available to an entire family/group or two different groups of guests, depending on the period and availability. In the case of different groups, the guests will share some common areas including the private pool and relaxation area with outdoor kitchen. It is the perfect base from which to explore all that beautiful Puglia has to offer. The recently restored 3 coned Trullo Serenità (sleeps 2 adults) apartment is fully equipped with all the mod cons including bathroom and kitchenette whilst retaining its original character and charm. Relax and immerse yourself in nature at this unique and tranquil getaway. Guesthouse Serenità is located in a separate building at the rear of the property and comprises 32 square metres internally. It is accessed via the private driveway and there is space to park in front of the covered patio at the private entrance. The large covered patio offers plenty of shade with dining table and chairs catering for 6 people, hammock, hanging Balinese chair and ping pong table (adjacent to the pizza oven room). Inside, the open plan Guesthouse comprises a living room, fully equipped kitchen, sleeping area for 4 people with 1 queen sized bed and 2 single bunk beds, attached large private bathroom complete with large shower, vanity with sink, toilet, bidet and laundry area with washing machine and iron. A pizza oven room is located at the far end of the building. A highlight of the property and favourite for guests is the private pool area with 6 x 4 metre pool, comfortable seating, sun loungers, hammock and Balinese hanging chair. Free Wifi is available throughout the property including in the outdoor pool and relaxation areas.

My husband Troy and I have lovingly restored the ancient trullo and separate guesthouse situated on our property separate to the main house for guests to enjoy. We love meeting people from around the world and look forward to welcoming you! We have been working in the tourism and hospitality industry for over 20 years. We previously owned and operated a B & B in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Australia. We have managed properties in Umbria and Greece and now want to focus on our own little piece of paradise. We live on the property in a house adjacent to the trullo and are available to answer any questions guests may have, help with any issues and offer recommendations for local restaurants, towns, beaches and other places of interest to visit. We will respect the privacy of the guests and interact with them only as much as the guests require or desire.

Trullo Serenità Retreat is a 10 minute drive from the villages of Ceglie Messapica (a charming village favoured by locals for its numerous good restaurants and bars) and Villa Castelli, both of which have all amenities including supermarkets, restaurants, pizzerias, banks, pharmacies, etc. Martina Franca is only a 12 minute drive from the property. Grottaglie is famous for Puglian ceramics and is a 15 minute drive from the property. It is also easy to visit the white villages of Ostuni, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino as well as Carovigno and the beaches of both the Adriatic and Ionian Coasts within half an hour. You will need your own vehicle to best be able to fully explore the region. Lecce is about a 1 hour drive, Brindisi is 45 minutes by car and Bari airport is about a 1.5 hour drive.
