Hello, I am Lorenzo, I am 25 years old and I come from the wonderful Cilento region, a land rich in history, traditions and extraordinary cuisine. After graduating from hotel management school, I accumulated seven years of experience in the restaurant industry, working in the kitchen and learning the art of preparing dishes with fresh, genuine ingredients. This experience allowed me to understand not only the technique, but also the importance of transmitting the culinary culture of my region. Now, I have decided to embark on a new adventure: to start an accommodation where visitors can discover the Cilento, an authentic corner of Italy that holds centuries-old traditions, breathtaking landscapes and, of course, delicious food. With my B&B, I want to offer a homely welcome and give my guests an unforgettable experience of good food and local culture. The facility is located in Castelnuovo Cilento, in the heart of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, a protected area of inestimable natural and historical value. The surrounding territory, mostly hilly, offers breathtaking landscapes, characterised by centuries-old oak woods and olive groves that cover a large part of the area. Situated in a strategic position, the facility is only a few minutes' drive from some of Cilento's most renowned seaside resorts, such as Ascea, Acciaroli, Pioppi, Palinuro and Casal Velino. The Cilento coastline offers some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, with crystal-clear waters and sandy beaches, ideal for those seeking relaxation and tranquillity. The small, hidden coves provide moments of peace away from mass tourism. In addition to its natural beauty, the Cilento is a land rich in history and culture, with numerous archaeological sites of world importance, such as the excavations at Paestum and Velia, famous for their extraordinary Doric temples, which bear witness to the greatness of ancient Greece in Italy. Another pearl of the Cilento is the Sanctuary of Mount Gelbison, a pilgrimage destination of great spiritual value. Located at an altitude of 1,700 metres, the sanctuary offers a spectacular panoramic view of the valley below and is a place of peace and contemplation, immersed in the unspoilt nature of the Cilento National Park.
