My name is Anna Barberini and since 2007 I am a tourist entrepreneur. I was lucky enough to be original from Maremma where, after much wandering, I came back and I decided to open the doors of the properties of my family and turn them into homes for tourists. I am a mixture of mixed feelings but what distinguishes me is the passion for all things that I do.

Property information

This is the house where I was born. I have traveled the world, I lived in 30 different beautiful homes, and yet I have always experienced a special charm to my birthplace. Maybe because I remember when we went as a child with my Brothers in the attics in search of treasures. Or maybe because, with its prime location on the square, I felt a little Princess and watched the bustle of the village from the windows of the first floor, from which you could see the sea too. I wanted to share these feelings with others and so I opened the B & B that today many choose for their summer holidays or business trips. In the rooms there is the story of the house and the objects that have embellished it over time. The reception is to people who like to feel the guests at home.

Neighbourhood information

Scarlino, overlooking the Gulf of Follonica, it is the medieval village perched on the hill closer to the sea. Not far from the crowded beaches here you can find cool refreshment and silence. The view is breathtaking and the stone streets reveal delightful corners. There are seven restaurants that offer excellent cuisine and fine wines from Maremma. The Rocca Pisana, which we call “the castle” houses in summer top shows in a beautiful location with an extraordinary natural acoustics.
