News of Villa Bonelli are already present in the Leopoldian Catasto of 1825: a noble palace of three floors, which overlook a beautiful garden. Passing along the street you can see the secular magnolia protruding beyond the walls: from this garden Alessandro Manzoni admired the Tuscan countryside during his visits to his daughter Vittoria, married in Siena and residing in Villa Bonelli. ***
