Villa Gina is a historic villa located on the border of Argegno, in Valle Intelvi, a picturesque valley connecting Lake Como and Lake Lugano in Switzerland. Built in 1766 by an Austrian aristocratic family, it was named after Countess Gina, featured in Stendhal's novel "The Charterhouse of Parma". Restored in 2011, the villa boasts original stuccos, handmade tile floors, and rare marble. It features silk-paneled bedrooms with lake and mountain views, an 18th-century Murano chandelier, and antique artworks. Nearby: The Villa is only a few minutes away from the charming village of Argegno, known for its picturesque historic village and lake landscape. Here, one can enjoy a stroll through the alleys of the village and stop at the numerous bars and restaurants: "Bar Motta" and "Pasticceria Grandi" for breakfast, "Caffè Colombo" for an aperitif, "Ristorante La Piazzetta" and "Ristorante Il Sorriso" for lunch and dinner, and a homemade ice cream at "Il gelato di Zoe".
