Il Capiteto is managed by Tenuta Carobbio wich is a historic winery located in the heart of Chianti Classico area. During your stay, you can plan a full immersion afternoon in our production, booking a guided tour and tasting of all our wines , extra vergin olive oil and Vinsanto. The estate is only 5 minutes away: join us and enjoy !! We produce mainly red wines, but our Rosato Sangiovese will be a goof compromise even if you use to drink whites. Ten years ago the estate decided to purchase Villa Capiteto from a private family and until now our goal was to mantein the romantic atmosphere of it. A rural house for an authentic Tuscan lifestyle !

Il Capiteto is an indipendent villa, completely surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, woods and .....quiet. To discover it , you have to drive per 1 km and half , of unpaved, white road that looks hard...(if you have to rent a car, please consider to take a suv). When you arrive you will be rewarded by the peace of the place. The wonderful view will accompany your days from the sunrise until the sunset: a beautiful, huge and private swimming pool will help you to have a rest from the daily frenetic life . Take the most relaxing vacation of your life, enjoyng some of our wines!

Panzano in Chianti is one of the most famous places for the production of wines and extra vergin olive oil. Imagine the wonderful landscape! You can plan a visit to wineries around, you can visit small villages like Greve in Chianti, Montefioralle, Badia a Passignano, Radda .....you can walk or cycle through the famous " Gallo Nero white roads" or visit the beauty of Florence, Siena, Arezzo, San Gimignano.... and many others! ...but most of all, the Chianti is the best place to enjoy food , wine and relax in a perfect Tuscan mood!
