Immersed in the Val d'Ega valley, the family-run Gasthof Zur Sonne offers a restaurant, bar and free saunas. All mountain-style rooms come with free WiFi, most have a balcony.
The Zur Sonne has excellent bus links to Bolzano, Obereggen and Carezza. It is a 15-minute drive from the Obereggen ski slopes and a private shuttle service is available during winter. Ski storage is also provided.
Rooms have carpeted or oak-wood floors and simple furnishings. Each includes a 26-inch LCD TV with satellite channels. Some rooms have lovely views of the garden.
A rich buffet breakfast is available each morning, with cold meats, eggs and muesli. The restaurant serves a mix of regional and international dishes for dinner. Vegetarian options are available on request.
The property offers infrared, Finnish and aromatherapy saunas, all available for free if reserved in advance. Outdoors, you will find a relaxing terrace with tables and chairs.
