I am an irie rasta man who enjoys the company of others. I love dogs and birds and so here on property I have a couple dogs and some beautiful birds. Shades Cottage guesthouse is a family owned business situated in the heart of Belmont. Tucked away in a beautiful garden is a place said by guests to be paradise. We have on property two guesthouses. One has two double rooms ( one room with a full bed a one with two single beds), a bathroom, a dining room and a patio. The other guesthouse has two double room upstairs an two double rooms downstairs (all with full beds), two bathrooms, one shower and a patio upstairs and downstairs. We also have a restaurant on property that serves breakfast and dinner done to order and a bar that serves cold beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic). We at Shades Cottage welcome all our guest with a bright smile and a desire to serve them to the best we can so that your stay with us can be the most memorable one. Welcome to Shades Cottage Guesthouse the IRIE garden for your utmost relaxation.

Belmont is a wonderful community situated in Westmoreland. its a beautiful neighborhood to take a walk in or just to go to the beach. There are small snack shops that are just minutes away. Belmont is also the birthplace of the famous Peter Tosh, his memorial is just minutes away from Shades Cottage. The people in Belmont are extremely friendly, this is a amazing neighborhood, it is very peaceful and relaxing.
