Youssef
Hello and welcome to the bedouin cave campsite in Wadi Rum. My name is Youssef, I was born in Wadi Rum and I want to share with you the beautiful land, desert and mountains I live in. You can stay one or two nights with me and my cousins, sleep in a cave or camp under the stars, depending on the weather in the beautiful scenery of Wadi Rum desert. We have two caves, a big one with up to 10 mattresses and a smaller one with two joined mattresses for more privacy (for a couple for example). We cook a typical bedouin diner in the cave at night and a bedouin breakfast in the morning. We can offer you several tours : - a full day jeep tour around the red desert, including Lawrence's spring, the sand dune, khazali canyon, the small arche, Lawrence's face, lawrence's house, the mushroom rock, Burdah rock bridge, Abu Rajebah canyon, sandboarding, umm fruth rock bridge including lunch for 60JOD or half a day, with some of the points listed above, according to your preferences for 40JOD (lunch 5JOD extra). - a full day tour arround the white desert where you can hike a lot, visit the bedouin families living in the desert, including lunch for 70JOD or half a day for 50JOD (lunch 5JOD extra). - hike up the highest peak of Jordan, Jabal Umm ad Dami including transportation and lunch for 100JOD. - 1h camel rides in the desert for 20JOD. There is no bathroom in the cave but if you need, we can bring you to a camp the next morning owned by our family that have shared bathrooms with toilets and showers. Looking forward to have you upon us !
