We are located in between Nara(15 minutes) and Osaka(Namba 20 minutes) where is East hill side of Mt.Ikoma National park. Our nearest rail way station is Kintetsu Ikoma which is 10 mints by Taxi about 800 yen. We only have one group of guests at a day. So you have private bedroom as well tea house and bath room. The room fee include breakfast. As your request I can prepare Japanese dinner like Sushi, Shabushabu, e.t.c., 20,000 for 2 people. Every morning, lift service to Ikoma station available. our guests enjoy: -Japanese / western style breakfast (included in room fee) -Shabu-shabu & Sashimi dinner, Wagyu Sukiyaki dinner( book in advance) - Tea ceremony house with traditional Japanese garden - Private Onsen style Japanese cypress bath house - Sushi lessons 12,000/person ( book 3 days in advance. Please ask avarability.). Be a Sushi chef for your dinner!! - Kintsugi class 12,000/person (book when you make a reservation for the room)
Welcome to Atelier Bee's Knees Bed and Breakfast! I'm Sachiyo and proprietor of Atelier Bee's Knees. I am enthusiastic about cooking, antiques, and Kintsugi artworks. I am certified sushi chef and also enjoying teaching how to make a sushi for the guests. I hope that you will enjoy the most of Japan and to immersion into Japanese culture at our place.
To get our place, please take a taxi from north side of Kintetsu Ikoma station. It will be easy for you to find our place to print out our location map and show to the taxi driver. It takes about 10 mins/ 900yen. Around Kintetsu Ikoma station is convenient for shopping. There’re supermarket, department store,cafe restaurants, drugstore. You can find food,sweets,souvenirs e.t.c. Also our guests enjoy visiting Hozanji temple where is 5 minutes by cute cable car from Ikoma station. There an amusement park for children on the top of Mt.Ikoma (Ikoma Sanjo amusement park) which is 634 m height with panoramic view of Osaka and Nara.
