Gion Ryokan Q-beh offers dormitory rooms and Japanese-style private rooms, and free WiFi access at all areas. The property is located within walking distance from a variety of landmarks; including Yasaka Shrine and Kodaiji Temple, located just a 3-minute walk away. Each room is equipped with air conditioning/heating facilities. At Ryokan Q-beh you will find a garden, a shared kitchen and laundry facilities. Luggage can be stored for free. English speaking staff is also available on site. Kyoto Station is a 20-minute bus ride away, while Kiyomizu Temple is a 15-minute walk from the property. Maruyama Park can also be accessed within a 4-minute walk. No meals are provided at the property. Guests cannot check in after 21:00. Guests arriving after 21:00 must inform the property in advance. Our hostel is located in the historical district of 'Gion' area where 'maiko' walk around, and just a couple of minutes walk to some popular temples and shrines. So the surrounding area is very quiet, beautiful and calm. We don't provide any food service but there are a Japanese style tatami floor living room with fully-equipped kitchen. A dining area with table and chairs for those who are not yet attached to the Japanese style. Also an observation room where you can look over a Japanese garden on the third floor. ▲NOTICE▲ **Q-beh is classified as the business of operating a common lodging house (≒ hostel, guesthouse) under the Hotel Business Act of Japanese Law. Given the nature of simple lodging, we understand that there may be some inconveniences, but we will do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. **We DO NOT PROVIDE any food service and we DO NOT HAVE a bath-tub/Onsen.** **Due to the traditional Japanese architectural style (with ceilings, walls, and floors lacking soundproofing), sounds such as voices or footsteps may carry easily. And, there are no lifts/elevator. ** **We are afraid that our hostel is not designed to accommodate big groups, so we might ask you to cancel reservations if you are a big group (we can only accommodate a group up to 4 people in our Mixed dormitory, up to 3 people in Female dormitory).** **We have a policy of limiting the length of stay at our hotel. ** **We take only cash for the Kyoto City tax because we have to separate with your room fee payment.
