Property information

Maana Kyoto is a modern Kyomachiya guest house located just a 5-minute walk from Tanbaguchi Station. Inside, the space feels open and soothing, with soft light filtering through high, open-air ceilings. The bath is thoughtfully positioned to face the courtyard, offering a quiet moment to unwind while taking in the gentle movement of the garden. As with many traditional Kyoto homes, the structure retains its original character with thinner walls than in modern buildings. You may hear natural everyday sounds from the neighbourhood or from within the home, which form part of the living rhythm of the area. The entire house is reserved exclusively for your stay, allowing you to settle in and enjoy the space freely throughout the day, at your own unhurried pace.

Neighbourhood information

Convenience stores, supermarkets, and small local eateries are all close by, making it easy to pick up anything you need during your stay. The neighbourhood is well connected: JR Tambaguchi Station is just 5 minutes away on foot and one stop from Kyoto Station, while both the Arashiden and Hankyu Omiya Stations can be reached easily by walking or by bus.
