[Pattaya (Thailand) and Biei (Hokkaido, Japan)] We are from Asahikawa, Hokkaido and currently live in Pattaya while running a company in Tokyo. [Why Pattaya?] It is a rare city in the world with good airport access, a population of less than 100,000 and over 10 million visitors a year, and a well developed shopping mall and market. South Pattaya area Unixx South Pattaya : 36th floor with sea and forest views [Why Biei, Hokkaido?] Every year, 2 million tourists visit Biei, a town with a population of less than 10,000 that is overflowing with natural tourist resources. I decided as a child that if I were to live anywhere, it would be in Biei. This wish has become a reality and I have come to Biei to offer two listings; 1. It's a 15-minute drive from Asahikawa Airport to Asahikawa, the second largest city in Hokkaido, located in the center of the island. It is a city rich in nature, with Biei, Asahikawa City, Furano, Asahidake Onsen/Tenkinkyo Onsen/Shirogane Onsen, Campmore Ski Resort, Biei Town Ski Resort, Aoi Ike Pond, Shirahige Falls, etc. all within a 30-minute drive. There are three grocery stores, three supermarkets, a large drugstore and a hardware store within a 7 minute walk of the house. There are also a number of restaurants within a 7-minute walk, including a highly rated soup curry restaurant and a game meat restaurant on either side, a family restaurant serving Asahikawa ramen and katsudon set meals next door, and other izakaya, bistro, and yakiniku restaurants. The street in front of the station that Biei Terrace faces has been laid out with underground power poles and a landscape ordinance that regulates things like roof shapes, so it's a small town, but it has a nice townscape.
