Just a 15-minute walk from the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Nikko Hoshino Yado features natural hot-spring baths with Japanese garden views, traditional kaiseki (multi-course) cuisine and Japanese-style rooms with tatami floors. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Nikko Hoshino Yado Ryokan is a 5-minute walk from Shinkyo Bridge and a 30-minute drive from Kegon Waterfall. JR Nikko Train Station is about 2 km away, and a free shuttle bus to the hotel is offered. Rooms include traditional Japanese-style futon bedding and overlook Nikko Mountain and the hotel’s beautiful Japanese garden. Facilities include a refrigerator, electric kettle and flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Guests at Ryokan Nikko Hoshino Yado can relax and unwind with a massage or by soaking in the hotel’s cypress wood hot-spring baths. A free shuttle bus runs between the hotel and Nikko Train Station from 14:00 to 18:00. No reservation is needed to use the shuttle; guests can simply call the hotel upon arrival at Nikko Train Station, and the shuttle should arrive in less than 10 minutes.
Please note that restaurants around the area are limited and may close early in the evenings. Dining options may be difficult to find after this time.
If guests with a room-only or a breakfast-inclusive rate wish to eat dinner and/or breakfast at the property, they need to make a reservation at least 1 day in advance. A meal request at time of check-in may not be accommodated.
