With a large extended family, I must have visited Nikko 50—perhaps even close to 100—times. The area where our room is located is at the gateway to Nikko, near JR Nikko and Tobu Nikko stations. It is a residential area, so it is quiet and very safe. There are restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets around. It is also very close to the Nikko Interchange, making it very convenient for those coming by private car or rental car. The parking lot is spacious, so large vehicles can be parked. The people of Nikko are gentle and kind. They have warmly welcomed travelers since as far back as the Edo period. They welcome travelers from all over the world. Compared to Tokyo and Kyoto, Nikko is a quiet and calm town with fewer people. Nikko is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan. Buses to major sightseeing spots leave frequently from JR Nikko Station, a 4-minute walk from the inn. There is also a cab stand in front of JR Nikko Station, a 4-minute walk from the inn, where you can take a cab. There are also Toyota car rental company near the Tobu Nikko station.
