🌌 About the host 🌌 I grew up in the same prefecture as Nikko, and it has always been a special place for me. Whenever relatives visited, Nikko was our first choice—and over the years, I’ve been here dozens of times. As an adult, I feel truly grateful to now welcome guests to this place I’ve loved since childhood. Nikko is a rare destination where beautiful nature, deep history, and unique attractions—such as Edo Wonderland and Tobu World Square—come together in one area. Having traveled to more than 30 countries as a backpacker, I can confidently say that Nikko is a place worth visiting. 🌌 About the area 🌌 The property is ideally located between two of Nikko’s most famous sights. Nikko Toshogu Shrine (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is just a 10-minute walk away, and Kanmangafuchi (Bake Jizo) is also about a 10-minute walk. The neighborhood is full of great local spots, including sukiyaki restaurants, Japanese and Chinese dining, curry shops, a popular café, and convenience stores—all within easy walking distance. The inn is about 7 minutes by taxi from Tobu Nikko Station or JR Nikko Station. By bus, it takes about 10 minutes to the **Nishi-Sando Iriguchi** stop, followed by an easy 8-minute walk. There is a Lawson convenience store right in front of the bus stop, which is perfect for picking up drinks or snacks before heading to the property. Quiet and peaceful, this area is an ideal place to relax and enjoy Nikko—away from the crowds and noise of Tokyo.
