Located in central Arashiyama district, Ranzan offers accommodations with free wired internet access. Guests can refresh in the spacious public baths and relax by the traditional garden. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Hankyu Arashiyama Train Station and JR Saga Arashiyama Train Station are both a 15-minute walk away. The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer and an air purifier is provided in each room. Guests can choose to stay in traditional rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding or in rooms with Western beds and carpeted floors. Massages can be requested for an extra cost. Guests can sing their favourite tunes at the karaoke room and use the free on-site parking. Board games and a DVD player can be borrowed at the front desk for in-room use. Traditional multi-course meals featuring Kyoto specialties are served for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. Both meals are served at Keiga restaurant, while a Japanese lunch is available at Keiga restaurant. Ranzan Ryokan is a 10-minute walk from Tenryu-ji Temple and a 20-minute public bus ride from Daikaku-ji Temple. JR Kyoto Train Station is a 30-minute train ride away.
