تم افتتاح SOWAKA في نوفمبر، 2018، ويقع بالقرب من حي جيون ويضم حديقة يابانية ويوفر غرف في كيوتو، يتميز المبنى الرئيسي الذي تم تجديده بديكور تقليدي على طراز كيوتو لاستمتاع الضيوف. وتتوفر خدمة الواي فاي المجانية في جميع أنحاء المبنى.
تحتوي جميع الغرف المكيفة في الفندق على غلاية كهربائية وميني بار وثلاجة وخزانة ملابس. وتم تجهيز الغرف بحمام خاص مع إضافات تشمل مجفف شعر ورداء حمام وملابس نوم.
