[About Kitchen Facilities] Seasonings such as salt, pepper, soy sauce, salad oil, olive oil, and sesame oil are provided in the room. Cooking utensils available include a microwave, rice cooker, frying pan, small pot, mixing bowl, colander, knife, cutting board, peeler, grater, ladle, etc. For tableware, you are free to use chopsticks, cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, mugs, plates (large and small), bowls, and rice bowls. [Projector Set] In the living room, you can enjoy movies and music with a 120-inch projector and two gourd-shaped speakers. DVD, Blu-ray, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and YouTube are available for viewing. [Bedroom Information] There is one Western-style bedroom and one Japanese-style bedroom, each equipped with two beds. For stays of more than 4 guests, futons are available.

"Uwanosora" is a private villa available for one group per day. It is equipped with a kitchen for self-catering and a wood stove, and is located in a quiet mountain setting. While the cell phone signal is weak, which may feel a bit inconvenient, the villa is surrounded by abundant nature, and you may occasionally see wildlife such as insects, deer, or monkeys. Our family operates the villa, so we do not offer hotel-like services. However, we hope you will enjoy a relaxing time in harmony with the mountains, people, and rivers. We are a family of four, a couple in our 30s living in Shizuoka City with a young boy and girl. In 2017, after traveling around the world together, we decided to settle in Shizuoka. During our travels, we developed a desire to become hosts and welcome travelers ourselves. We hosted a homestay in Shimizu, Shizuoka for a year, but paused the business when our children were born. In 2019, we moved to the countryside in Shizuoka City and opened "Uwanosora." If you love nature or are interested in rural life or relocating to the countryside, we’d love to have you visit!

We are located about 30 minutes by car from JR Shizuoka Station. Most guests arrive by rental car or private vehicle. If you take a taxi, it will cost around 5,000 yen one way. There is a bus service, but it is quite inconvenient due to the limited number of buses. The nearest convenience store is about 10 minutes drive, and the nearest supermarket is 15 minutes by car. We recommend doing your shopping before arriving. Since there are no restaurants within walking distance, most guests choose to cook for themselves. It’s also a great base for visiting Sumatakyo Gorge and the Oigawa Railway.
