Newly opened in July 2025, SAkyozan is a private villa in Hida Takayama reserved for only one group per day. While conveniently located a 10-minute walk from the historic Old Town, you can relax as if you were home in our quiet, hilltop environment. Our appeal is our dedicated concierge support; from a complimentary shuttle and tour planning assistance to a breakfast of popular local bread and fruit, our detailed services will help create your truly special journey.

Neighbourhood information

Our villa is conveniently located in the heart of Takayama city, within easy walking distance of the historic Old Town and the Miyagawa Morning Market. We also offer a complimentary private shuttle for comfortable access to destinations further afield, such as the UNESCO World Heritage site of Shirakawa-go. Use our villa as your base to explore all the wonders the Hida region has to offer.
