Accommodation and House Information This house is suitable for guests who enjoy nature, the peace of a secluded setting and love being in the middle of nowhere. It features an open-plan design with a spacious sitting room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, including a solar-powered refrigerator and gas cooker. The property is self-catering, so guests are required to bring their own food and drinks. Meals can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors next to the kitchen area. Essentials such as spices, salt, dishwashing soap, bath soap, and toilet rolls are provided. The house is completely off-grid, powered by solar for both lighting and water heating. The firepit area provides stunning views of the bush and Mt. Kilimanjaro—an excellent place to enjoy Amboseli sunsets or stargaze under the clear night sky. Wi-Fi is available, though some mobile networks may work only in certain areas and signals can be weak and unreliable. Please note this is a wilderness location, so guests must exercise caution at all times, and children must remain under adult supervision. Basic accommodation for drivers is available on-site, with more options in Lengesim Town (13 km away). Babysitters/nannies may only stay if booked and paid for as full guests. Tap water is safe for cooking, though we recommend bringing drinking water. As the property runs on solar, please conserve energy and avoid heavy wattage appliances. The property is accessed via a gravel road—sedans can reach in dry conditions, but high-clearance vehicles 4X4 are advised during the rainy season. Amboseli National Park is nearby and highly recommended for game drives. Park fees must be paid virtually and validated at the Airstrip, Iremito, or Meshanani Gate. Since park boundaries are unmarked, valid tickets are essential to avoid heavy fines.Pets are not allowed due to wildlife in the area. Guests may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and more—unsupervised nature walks are strongly discouraged for safety.
