Please note that the best way to get to Lonely Beach is from Gate 1 in Sihanoukville harbour. There are several boat companies departing multiple times daily and they stop at two places on Koh Rong- Long Set and Koh Touch. We recommend getting off at Koh Touch for more moto taxi options to take you to Lonely Beach. Please, feel free to ask for more information.

Before coming to lonely beach, would you kindly note that we are an eco-resort which means that we're running our place on solar power. You'll have lights in your bungalow. Plugs to recharge your camera or mobile are available in the restaurant all day. A torch(flashlight) is helpful after sunset. Taking care to run the resort in the most eco-friendly way possible water conservation is also a priority. Our bathrooms include Western style bucket toilets and traditional Khmer style bucket showers.

Lonely Beach lies on a beautiful secluded bay in the very north of Koh Rong, far away from Sihanoukville or the busier southern part of the island 27 solar-powered private bungalows, some with attached bathrooms and others with shared bathrooms can be booked to enjoy this peaceful paradise. The on-site restaurant offers a variety of tasteful local, Asian and Western food. Be prepared for hammocks, palm trees, stunning sunsets, crystal clear water, plankton swimming at night and much more... As Lonely Beach is a WiFi-free zone you'll find plenty of time to read a book, explore an authentic fishing village, enjoy the beach or socialize with other guests. Internet access can be had using a 4G hotspot in the restaurant. If your needs require a little more time with internet access, picking up a SMART SIM before your arrival will serve you well. Snorkeling trips or walks to one of the surrounding waterfalls can be organized.

The property no longer offers a private boat connecting Sihanoukville to Lonely Beach. A local boat from Sihanoukville to the village Preksway near Lonely Beach is available daily from pier 52 leaving at 2 pm. The local boat can sometimes be delayed as they wait for supplies but guests should arrive before 2 pm in case it is not delayed. For departures from Lonely Beach, the same boat leaves Preksway village at 7 am daily.

The property is no longer only accessible via private transfer at an additional charge.
