c. If EDL is ON or the time of the day is between 3-5pm or 2-6am, the generator will not turn ON but the red light should be flashing so that the generator will be able to turn ON later when EDL is OFF or when the UPS time has passed
d. If EDL is OFF or the time of the day is outside 3-5pm or 2-6am, the generator will turn ON and the red light will be flashing
e. In the unlikely event that the remote is not working contact GR to show how to do it from inside the generator panel
10. Open the green door (main door) and the upper floor (glass door) to enter the house 11. 11. Go to the main panel in the kitchen area near the fridge and turn on the circuit breakers of the fridge, water heater and if it is dark the garden rail lighting and the projectors (and please make sure to turn off the garden rail lighting and projectors during daylight).
12. Note that every Wednesday, there will be a grass cut between 2 pm and 4 pm. 13. Never touch the Garden Control breaker (always ON), the Water Pump breaker (always ON) and the Boiler Room breaker (always OFF during summer). 14. Circuit breakers of the house are located at:
a. Main Panel in the kitchen area
b. EDL panel in the wooden box near the oak
c. Generator near the barbecue (entrance from behind the barbecue room) d. UPS inside the barbecue room
15. Before checking-out, please:
a. Make sure to turn off the lights and equipment (Washing machine, AC, oven…) b. “Turn off the circuit breakers of the fridge, water heater and the garden rail lighting and projectors”
c. Go near the generator again, press the “2” button: the light will stop flashing and then wait 1 minute until the generator is off.
d. Put the generator remote control in the wooden box on the left side of the oak tree (as per photo and same as point 7 above)
e. Close the doors and put the keys back in the lockbox
16. If you leave the house temporarily, please:
a. Keep the remote control of the generator at its place(wooden box)

Welcome to Red Oak!
Escape to a quaint stone house nestled in the heart of Assia, Batroun district. This charming property features three bedrooms, ensuring ample space for your comfort. Enjoy the best of both worlds, as the house offers a tranquil setting while being conveniently located just 22 minutes away from Batroun souks, providing easy access to local amenities and attractions.
**IMPORTANT HOUSE MANUAL**
1. Location will lead towards Yara Market - Then follow the video for the road guidance 2. Parking outside the main gate near the garbage
3. Garbage removal is performed every Monday morning, guest can throw garbage in the appropriate containers near the parking
4. In order to take care of your beautiful garden, our gardner will come everyday between 5 and 6pm to perform the irrigation works
5. Lockbox to be placed near the main gate and keys include:
a. Main Gate key (Yellow wood)
b. House door key (Green wood)
c. Floor 1 key (Glass door)
6. The main gate door is in the middle of the gate
7. Once a guest enters, go to the wooden box on the left side of the oak tree (as per photo) to find the generator remote control.
8. Electrical supply is on a 24-24 basis and includes 3 sources:
a. EDL 20A
b. Generator 20A
c. UPS (16 A from time to time and 5 A continuously) from 3pm to 5pm and from 2 am till 6 am. During those times guests should not use the washing machine, hair dryer, iron ore, microwave or heavy equipment.
d. Please note that during 2am to 6 am the fence lighting will turn off automatically but you will still be able to turn on the AC at the first floor as well as the projectors around the house and above the oak tree
9. First thing to do is:
a. Go near the generator just near the barbecue from the roadside (photo) b. Press the “1” button and wait for the red light to flash on

PLEASE NOTE THAT:
During your stay, don’t turn off the generator even if you leave to the beach for the whole day for example
Only turn it off at your check out.
Always leave the remote control at its place in the wooden box when you leave the house temporarily.
