Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Birds and monkeys are to be seen in the evenings. Supermarkets, restaurants are around the corner and there's a shop right-down the lane where you can by groceries from if you want to cook for yourself. Close by to all the attractions in Galle such as beaches, Galle-fort museum and Dutch fort.
