Buses are operated to northern (Jaffna, Mulathiv,etc), southern (Galle, Matara,etc) everyday.

Negombo fishing harbour, famous St. Mary's Church built in dutch period, buddhist temples, kovils, mosques, Dutch Port ( with a great history), etc. Many restaurents supplying multi cuisines are avaiable. They are at walking distance. Clothing stores, grocery stores and super markets are scattered within the city and you can reach them within 10 to 15 minutes from the Bee Cottage. Many pivate health care centers are opened 24 hours for any emergency. You will be introduced to a tuk tuk driver who will provide you with 24 hour service.
