We are Tharin and Emanuela, an Italian-Srilankan couple and we love knowing new people, sharing experiences, hosting, and enjoying simple life. Travelling and discovering is our hobby. During our free time, it has become one of our top priorities to visit a new destination in or outside Sri Lanka so we could experience and learn new cultures, traditions, and lifestyles. This has helped us to connect with our guests who visit us from all around the world and to build a great bond with them and make their stay memorable. Almost every guest who visits Casa Tharin says goodbye at the end of their stay by being a great friend of ours. We would like to live in a peaceful world and we study to make this happen in our small world. We love making people happy. Casa Tharin is a place we put that into action Emanuela is an experienced qualified meditation teacher and we do twice-a-week sessions of evening meditation and Kriya Yoga (contact with our energetical body) through the One Minute Meditation Method (created by Patrizio Paoletti - founder of The International School Of Self Awareness)

Casa Tharin is open for offering a relaxing, comfortable, and regenerating holiday with views of the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by coconut trees Casa Tharin has 2 main building. The first one builded in 2019 has 5 spacious rooms and 3 floors, a fantastic terrace with an ocean view. Every room has a private balcony with a sitting area, a view of the garden, The second building finished in 2024, has 3 AC rooms, with a private bathroom and private balcony. Wooden roof and furniture offers a warm stay. We have a Cafè with a Cimbali coffee espresso machine and you can enjoy the best cappuccino in the area. We serve vegetarian brunch, continental breakfast, fresh juices, and homemade food. The main surf point is just 2 minutes walking. Our aim is to make guests feel at “home”. Help them find their natural rhythm by connecting with nature, eating healthy, having regenerative sleeping, and doing exercises on the beach or engaging in some morning yoga or meditation on the terrace. You could take an Ayurvedic massage in your room by a professional masseuse We believe that each of us could make a difference to help Mother Earth, so we reduce as we can plastic, we have solar panels for hot water, and a solar panels system for electricity, using the strength of this country, the sun.

We are 100 meters for the main surf point of Madiha which is our main attraction. Madiha beach is one of the best surfing places in the Mirissa region. The best thing about this surfing place is that you can enjoy surfing without getting into long queues. In addition to this, you can also explore a subaquatic paradise and spot some turtles beneath Madiha's clean water in the famous turtle lover’s paradise Polhena beach which is situated just 3 km away from Casa Tharin. Our closest city is Matara is one of the main cities in southern Sri Lanka. Once ruled by the Portuguese, Dutch and British Matara have a collection of colonial buildings including the Matara Fort, the Star Fort, and the Old Nupe Market. Our guests could stay in our place ideally for 2 weeks and choose some different activity or an experience each day. Surfing, whale watching, We have local restaurants nearby which offer international and local cuisine so you could enjoy some delicious and unique dishes We are between 10 to 45 minutes away from the main tourist towns in south Sri Lanka; Weligama, Mirissa, Galle, Unawatuna, and Tangalle.
