The Cinnamon Cottage is a beautifully located private room looking out on to the Bentota River. Situated at the bottom of a large garden full of fruit and spice trees, the room has a tropical modernist design, built using recycled timber and boasting an outdoor shower. Breakfast of fresh fruit, toast and tea is included in the room rate, and provided with a smile by the host's family, who are always on hand to help with whatever you need. Birds and lizards abound in the adjoining garden.

Sri Lanka is a mysterious island with wonderful cultural, historical and environmental treasures. We have an amazing biodiversity that include vast arrays of species like Asian elephants, monkeys, frogs, water hens, peacocks, land monitors and much more. The incredible fauna, wild flowers and tropical fruits are bountiful and beautiful to see.
So, at The Cinnamon Cottage, I strive to serve all guests with exciting experiences of the Sri Lanken Island, as your heart wishes to.
