The Hill Town Cottage is an English style bungalow with a scenic beauty of the mountains and situated at the foot of Piduruthalagala mountain the highest in Sri Lanka. Situated approximately 1 km away from the center of Nuwara Eliya town.
Hill Town Cottage has 2 family rooms which can accommodate 3 paxs.There are 2 couple bed rooms with a balcony facing the Piduruthalagala mountain. The Hill Town Cottage has free Wifi 24 hours, Restaurant, Drivers quarters (only room), free secured parking, garden and serves English breakfast. Hill Town Cottage is situated on Lady Maccullum Drive, coming from Kandy or from Ragala, both routes connect to Lady Maccullum Drive. The guest can drive within 15 minutes or have a days tour to Lake Gregory, Single Tree, Lovers Leap, Holy Trinity Church, Golf Club and the Hill Club.
Also, there are many tea centres such as Pedro tea centre, Mackwoods tea centre, and blue field tea centre for the best Sri Lankan tea. There are many water falls and many places of interests, like, Moon Plains, Horton Plains, Hakgala Botanical Gardens and Victoria Park.
