"The Vianden Cottage" is not the average Chalet. It is a concrete construction built in 1965 completely renovated in a "country loft" style in 2017 with all modern amenities. The Vianden Cottage Situated just above the town of Vianden is a lovely escape in the forest but not far away from local attractions and only approx. 45 minute drive from Luxembourg City. Come and enjoy a very special experience. Available min. 2 night stay and makes a perfect private, secluded daytime getaway as well. Dogs are most for a single fee per stay (regardless of number of dogs).

I live in Luxembourg City and are available at all times to assist you prior to and during your stay. I ensure that The Cottage is fully cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival in compliance with current standard Enhanced Cleaning Protocols.

Vianden is a vibrant small historical town in the north of Luxmbourg settled on the Our River. The village of Vianden dates back to the 3rd century had had considerable presence of both Templar and Trinitairre history, evidence of such exists to this day. The Vianden Castle is one of the largest and most prestegious in Europe. Vianden was also the home of Victor Hugo for a short period, a copy of Rodin's Victor Hugo mask can be seen at the bridge crossing the River Our. The Vianden Stat Parc is located approximately 400 meters from The Cottage where you can descend on the ancient walls of the city and view all of the Village below as well as the Vianden Castle above. The Cottage is situated on the Blue Walking Trail, part of locally over 35 kms of beautiful hiking/mountain biking. The Cottage is accessible just off the main road leading into Vianden, just before the "Welcome to Vianden" Signage. Parking for 2 cars in front and beside cottage.
