Large, light & airy house in the heart of Asilah. The medina is at the end of the street, the high street with shops and cafes is just around the corner, yet very little traffic noise. The house is ideal for large groups or a couple of families travelling together as the house layout incorporates 2 suites of rooms that can be self contained if required. All rooms have windows ( not always the case in Morocco) with wooden shutters on bedrooms and living areas for additional shade in summer. The house is furnished in an eclectic style with a mixture of comfortable furniture, antique pieces and artwork. Both kitchens are fully equipped and there are 2 washing machines available. The roof terrace offers sunbathing opportunities, BBQ, & is a great place to watch the sunset. note very important. the first small apartment does not have access to terace becouse the big apartment who has terrace it opened and the stairse cross inside it.

I have had a rental property for 10 years in Asilah, Mohammed has been my house guardian for all that time & our guests loved him. Mohammed is now the local host for Dar Khadija ( the house is named after his Mum). He meets every guest on their arrival in Asilah, escorts them to the house and makes sure they are happy with everything. You can arrange to have him provide breakfasts and/or dinners if you wish& of course if there is any issue during your stay, he will deal with it. I am based mainly in UK, so do the bookings, enquiries and the other administration stuff.

The location is good being just outside the medina walls. The medina, shops, pharmacy, hammam baths and street market are all less than 5 minutes walk away. There are several restaurants offering simple Moroccan dishes where you can eat in house or takeaway.
