Riad Al Massarah is a peaceful oasis featuring the best of traditional Riad architecture: wide and bright courtyard with vaulting colonnade, a lovely pool and lots of greenery, 6 generous en suite bedrooms and a superb terrace with excellent views over the High Atlas. All rooms (including the dining room and the sitting room on the ground floor are equipped with a fireplace. Spa with massage room and traditional Moroccan sauna (hammam) makes your stay really special.
Riad Al Massarah is located within the old medina in the Bab Doukkala neighbourhood, ideally positioned between the must see tourist attractions (Dar el Bacha/Musee des Confluences, Le Jardin Secret, Jeema el Fna, etc.) and the New Town (Jardin Majorelle, Yves Saint Laurent Villa and Museum). Bab Doukkala is a largely residential quarter offering a wonderful insight into authentic Marrakshi life without the wear-you-down hassle that's commonplace in the souqs. Just a few steps away from our Riad is the main street of the area, Rue Bab Doukkala, featuring a lively street market with all kinds of fresh food, as well as hammams and small cafes where locals linger to talk to their neighbours.
