Eric and Didier discovered Morocco in 2005, fell under the spell and in 2012 left Paris for Marrakech. They choose an authentic district of the medina and close to the attractions. Hidden in the calm of an alleyway, the riad Houdou and its patio with orange trees is an obvious choice. After six months of renovation, they open the guesthouse, abandoned for 2 years, which has been enlarged and offers 10 rooms, a Spa, two patios and a large terrace with swimming pool. Team spirit and caring attention are the priorities. Eric and Didier are surrounded by a staff concerned about the expectations and desires of their guests in order to get away from it all in optimal conditions of comfort. The serene calm and traditional architecture of riad Houdou charms all those who pass through its door. In the 17th century, a family of astronomers lived in the space which, today renovated, has become a guest house. Our riad, an oasis of greenery and tranquility, is located in the heart of the historic district and is a few minutes from the Ben Youssef medersa, luxury and trendy shops and ten minutes from the famous Jemaa el-Fna square. A stone's throw away, you will find a traditional covered souk, one of the last authentic streets of the medina. Continuing on you will enjoy a vegetable market with local farmers selling their fresh produce: mint, tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, fruits...
