Welcome to the scenic middle of nowhere. Here, cows ignore fences, cats run the local mafia and poop is less of an accident, more of a feature. The neighbour’s dogs might pop by to judge your snack choices. Birds will wake you up, the views will calm you down. You might get recruited to herd livestock in your pyjamas or find a sheep judging you parking. The air smells like freedom and your shoes will never be the same. Settle in, breathe deep, and enjoy this rural luxury experience.
We’re a couple living in the peaceful mountain village of Gornje Lipovo, Montenegro. When we're not traveling for work, we call this little valley home. I’m a chief stewardess and my boyfriend is a chef — we both work on superyachts and bring that same sense of care, creativity, and attention to detail into everything we do. We love exploring new places, meeting people from all over the world, and staying active through acro yoga, hiking, and movement. Fireside Lodge is our grounding spot — a place to rest, recharge, and share a slower way of life with others who pass through.
Gornje Lipovo is a quiet mountain village about 15 minutes from Kolašin. It’s peaceful, rural, and surrounded by open meadows, fresh air, and rolling hills. Life here moves slowly — you’ll see locals tending to their land, hear cowbells in the distance, and enjoy starry skies at night. It’s the perfect place to unplug, rest, and feel connected to nature.
