Les Palétuviers: An open space loft with a beautiful feeling of space and light (ceiling on the mezzanine is 5'9/5.7 ft.!). We have kept the beautiful part to the breathtaking view of the sea... Les Paletuviers has a sea view on both sides with its 5 large windows. Behind the linen curtains that swing with the trade winds and that run along the bay windows, the terrace, and the passageway are in red wood. The sea is there.... The kitchen, the choice fell on blue-green furniture. The mirrored splashbacks reflect the light, the reflections and the horizons of the setting suns accentuating this impression of softness and brightness. The large black cut-out metal light fixture invites you to go up to the mezzanine bedroom. The staircase is made of white cement and aluminum steps…Tall people should be careful of the ceiling height on the mezzanine ( 68,50 Inches = 1,74 mètre) but the dominant view of the living room gives the whole thing its dimension.

« Who are we?” Yamina worked during many years as Show room manager in the decoration and textiles industry in Paris & Remy worked as free lance designer in Paris and New Delhi .. We had come, as if drawn by a magnet, to spend our holidays at SXM, until the day we decided to move. In 2013, our lucky star guided us to Le Petit Hotel in Grand Case where we are still resident managers today. Thanks to Les PALETUVIERS we want to share with you the charm of our Friendly Island.
