This fully airconditioned apartment forms part of a recently renovated traditional 250-year-old townhouse in Malta’s old capital, Birgu. It was designed by local March Architects to the highest standard and all of the original features have been retained. It's located on Birgu's main street close to restaurants, museums, bus stations, cafes, and the ferry to Valletta. It's a perfect property for a couple to explore the Three Cities, Grand Harbour and the rest of the island.

Birgu is special because it has so much history and has remained mostly untouched by the construction that has overcome the island. Many locals still live in Birgu, so you'll be able to experience what Maltese towns used to be like. It's a quiet town, except for when the village feast is on! (2 weekends in August) I think the best way to really explore Malta is by renting a scooter or a car. There is some parking around the property but there is loads of parking around 100m from the property. You can also get around using taxi apps (Bolt or Uber) or by (free) public transport. You can explore Birgu and the rest of the area by foot and catch the ferry to Valletta (10 min walk to the terminal) which leaves every 30 minutes (:00 and :30).
